大阪にある老舗バーの全面改装のデザイン計画。既存店舗はビルの耐震工事により一旦退店となり、同じ場所での新規オープンとなった。TRAD BARという業態コンセプトにベースに、少し新しい感覚を取り入れることを考えた。ウォールナットのモールディングをあしらったオーセンティックな設えとし、バーで最も重要な照明は縦のライン状の光で空間を刻むようなつくりでスタイリッシュな印象を与えている。また、10mのカウンターのインパクトを最大限に感じさせるために、真鍮色のボトル棚を設置。店舗のシンボルとして路面からの視認性も向上した。金物は光を拡散させるゴールドにこだわり、何度も試作をして照明の検証を繰り返しながら製作している。ライン照明やモルタル、テラゾータイルの素材感、ワイヤーフレームアートなど、少し新しい価値観を差し込むことで、TRAD BARのコンセプトを守りながらもどこか今の時代感を表現した空間がつくれたのではないかと思う。（平野大偉／イチミリデザイン）

This design completely revamped an old bar. The existing bar was forced to temporarily vacate the building due to seismic retrofitting in its building, and it was set to reopen in the same place. We considered how to incorporate a bit of new sensation into the “TRAD BAR” (traditional bar) concept. Walnut moldings adorn the authentic design while the vertically oriented lighting, the most important aspect of a bar, divvy up the space stylishly. In order to maximize the impact of the 10m counter, we placed a brass-colored liquor shelves behind it. We also made it easier to see from the street as the symbol of the bar. We went through a process of making and remaking to find the right metalwork for the lighting, which uses highly reflective gold. By inserting a few new design sensibilities, such as new-style materials like line lighting, mortar, and terazo tile, as well as wire frame art, we were able to create a space with that felt somehow authentic to the era while still protecting the concept of TRAD BAR. 这是老字号酒吧的全面改装设计。因原店铺的楼体耐震工程而暂时休业后，又在原地点重新打造开张。以“TRAD BAR（传统的酒吧）”业态理念为基础，我们融入了些许新的感觉。配置了核桃木制正统的装饰边框。对于酒吧最重要的灯光照明，我们采用纵向光束营造的空间，给予了流行时尚的印象。此外，为了最大限度展现10米长吧台带来的视觉冲击，设置了黄铜色的酒柜。作为本店的特色，将路面的可视性加强提高。采用了使其光照更加扩散的金色系，且将金色材料多次打造试做，反复验证光线效果制作而成。
将光束照明，砂浆，水磨石瓷砖的素材感以及线框艺术等，融入些许新鲜的价值观，我们认为打造出了保持TRAD BAR概念的同时，又具备时代感的空间。（平野大伟／ICHIMIRI DESIGN）
