豊橋総合動植物公園 自然史博物館内のミュージアムショップ。博物館は「生物の進化」と「郷土の自然史」をテーマとした展示で、なかでも化石や恐竜が印象的である。そのため「積み重ねられた記憶」をイメージコンセプトとして、各時代を積み重ねてきた地層や岩を、豊橋市の洞窟遺跡「嵩山の蛇穴」のように表現し、地域の自然の世界観とオーバーラップさせた。店舗は床から壁、天井、什器すべて多角形で構成。一つとして同じ形状のものはない。天井高は段差をつけ、多角形のカラーパネルを貼り、壁面什器にも多角形の箱状の棚を積み木のように積み上げ、奥行きは350～500㎜までの4種を用いて前面に凹凸をつけることで岩肌の表現を増幅させている。カラースキームにおいても商品に埋没しない空間にするため、赤い岩石や岩を這う植物のグリーンをアクセントカラーとして取り入れ、全体的に空間デザインの個性とMD構成がうまく両立された店舗となった。（飯島雅朗／メック・デザイン・インターナショナル）

This is the museum shop of the Toyohashi Museum of Natural History. The Museum is themed on “the evolution of living things” and “local natural history,” with the fossils and dinosaurs being particularly memorable. Inspired by this, we used “layered memory” as the design concept to convey the layers and rocks of each era as if they were the historical cave in Toyohashi City cave, “Suseja-ana,” thereby overlapping the local natural world view. The shop is made up completely of polygons, from the floor and walls to the ceiling and fixtures. Yet, none are the same shape. The ceiling is made up of several different levels, decorated with polygonal colored panels. The fittings are made by piling up polygonal box-like shelfs between 350 and 500mm deep. Using the four different styles, we created bumps that give an even stronger impression of a rock surface. We used the color scheme in order to make it a space that doesn’t get buried under products, incorporating red rocks and green plants growing along the rocks as accent colors. 丰桥综合动植物公园自然史博物馆内的博物馆商店。博物馆展出的主题是“生物的进化”与“乡土的自然史”，其中最具印象性的是化石和恐龙。因此将“被沉淀的记忆”作为意象概念，将各个时代沉淀下来的地层和岩石，像丰桥市的洞窟遗迹“嵩山蛇穴”那样表现出来，使之与地域自然的世界观重叠。店铺从地板到墙壁、天花板、什器全部由多角形构成，且形状各不相同。吊顶高度设有段差，并贴有多角形的彩色镶板。壁面什器也是由多角形箱状棚架，像积木一样堆叠而上。深度为350到500mm，使用了4种前侧带有凹凸感的增幅来表现岩石肌理。为了富有色彩张力的空间不会将商品埋没，加入了赤岩的红色以及攀岩植物的绿色作为重点色，使得店铺成为全体性地设计空间不乏个性的同时又能与商品供应规划的构成很好的并存。（饭岛雅朗／MEC DESIGN INTERNATIONAL）
