新潟・燕市の産業技術で出来た陶器を思わせるチタンカップを扱う「SUSgallery」での、初めてのインショップとなるCOREDO室町では、新しい価値を提案する場所として考えた。9.22坪とコンパクトな空間に、垂直と水平に伸びてゆく素材としてシワ加工した0.005mm厚のステンレス箔と風化した板材を選んだ。自然界を思わす柔らかな色や豊かな表情のチタンカップは、その二つの素材を背景にすることでこれまでと違う価値を見出すことが出来た。（山本達雄）

“SUSgallery”, which sells titanium cups inspired by the pottery and made by the industrial technology of Tsubame city in Niigata prefecture, opened their first in-store shop in COREDO Muromachi. The shop is designed to provide a new value. In the 30.48㎡small space, we chose 0.005mm stainless foil with crease effect and weathered lumber as materials which stretches both vertically and horizontally. The titanium cups with soft colors or rich expressions suggestive of the natural world show a brand-new value against the background of the two materials. (Tatsuo Yamamoto)
