香港の「BEEF&LIBERTY」はグルメバーガーの専門店で、上海のポートマンに次ぐ2軒目の出店です。香港の出店場所であるこの地域は、2011 年に改装されたパシフィックプレイスが中心となり、コンテンポラリーでラグジュアリーなショップが集中し、お店の山側にあたる裏路地には近年お洒落なブティックやカフェが増え、人気のスポットとなっています。近隣のビジネスマンや休日のファミリーなどこの地域に集まる感度の高い客層をターゲットとしています。
店舗は建物の３階に位置し、入り口であるエレベーターのドアが開くと、最初に目に飛び込んでくるバーは、エジソンランプの照明がアイキャッチとなり、バーガーと一緒に提供されるカクテルや様々なビールを一目で認識でき、印象的で人々を引きつけるものとなっています。
店内は調理のライブ感を感じることができるキッチンを中心に席がレイアウトされ、この店の象徴でもある壁面のアートを引き立たせるために、焦げ茶からグレイッシュなトーンでシンプルにまとめています。
アートは、バーカウンターを超えると一部が目に飛び込み、店内に進むにつれて壁一面に描かれたその物語の全容を見ることができ、インパクトのあるものとなっています。
今回のテーマである、シンプルなインテリアとアートをバランスよく配置し、カジュアルな印象の中にも質の高いサービスを提供するスタイルをインテリアでも表現しました。（塩見一郎／spinoff）

“BEEF&LIBERTY”, opened in Hong Kong, is a gourmet burger specialty restaurant following their 1st store in the Portman Shanghai (Shanghai Center). The location has the Pacific Place in the center which was renovated in 2011 and many contemporary and luxury shops are concentrated in this area. The backstreet in the mountainside of the store has also become popular in recent years and many fancy boutiques and cafés has been increased. Those stores are targeting highly sensitive neighborhood business people and also families in weekends.
The store is on the 3rd floor. When the entrance door of the elevator opens, Edison lamp lightings in the bar area attract customers as an impressive eye-catching items which enable guests to recognize various cocktails and beers at first sight.
We placed sheets around the lively kitchen and chose simple dark brown and greyish colors in order to highlight the wall artwork that is also the symbol of the store.
The guests can see a part of the artworks over the bar counter. As they go deeper to the restaurant, the artwork gradually shows its whole story with the big impact. We also expressed the restaurant’s theme in the interior design which is to provide high quality services in casual atmosphere by placing simple interior and artworks. (Ichiro Shiomi / spinoff)
