本場中国で展開されている火鍋専門店「小肥羊（シャオフェイヤン）」は、日本では関東地方を中心に展開されています。火鍋というジャンル自体が関西ではまだまだ認知度が低く、まずは火鍋の店ということが分かりやすいファサードデザインが重要であると考え、店舗前面のどの通路からも見えるよう、コーナー部分に火鍋を象ったサインを設置しています。大阪の街が一望できるビルの29階という最高のロケーションを生かしたゾーニングプランとし、木・土・石といった風土を感じさせる素材感のあるものを用いることを心がけて、長く愛されるお店になるよう考えました。また、高々とした中国の山々をイメージしたグラフィックで壁面をデザインし、柱に刻み込んだ漢字で火鍋の歴史と味の奥深さを表現しています。（室谷丞一郎／ジーク）

“Shaofeiyan” is a specialty restaurant of Hinabe, Chinese hot pot. So far the brand has opened their shops mainly in Eastern area in Japan. Because this hot pot culture is not so popular in Western area, we thought the façade design is the most important part of this project which enables people to understand what they can eat in here. Therefore we created the hot pot-shape sign and put it on the front corner so that passersby can see it from every passageway. The restaurant is located on the 29th floor of a building where guests can have a panoramic view of Osaka city. We tried to maximize its locational characteristics when we planned the inside zoning and make the shop beloved for a long time by using natural materials, such as wood, soil, and stone. Walls are decorated with graphics of Chinese high mountains and engraved Chinese letters on columns represents the deepness of the hot pot’s history and its taste.  (Shoichiro Muroya / zycc corporation)
