昭和初期に建てられたノコギリ屋根の織物工場をリノベーションした洋菓子店「パティスリーウチヤマ」（群馬・桐生市）が1月27日グランドオープンする。 過去数度の増改築で隠れていた特徴的な屋根型を改めて表出。現代的な解釈の屋根型を付加している。建築を手掛けたのは玉上貴人（たまがみたかと）氏。
Textile factory, which was build more than 90 years ago was renovated and transformed into the pastry shop. Patisserie Uchiyama opened on January 27th in Kiryu-shi, Gunma prefecture. The building has its symbolic roof with the shape of saw edge, which was hidden because of the past renovations. Architect, Takato Tamagami added some modern touch to this roof and the building itself.
